We may share your data in the following circumstances: (a) Licensed Brokers — when EthioShare facilitates connections between users and licensed brokerage firms, relevant account and transaction data may be shared as necessary to complete transactions; (b) Regulatory Authorities — we may disclose information as required by law or in response to valid requests from Ethiopian regulatory bodies, including the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) and the National Bank of Ethiopia; (c) Service Providers — we engage trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf for hosting, analytics, and customer support, subject to strict confidentiality agreements; and (d) Legal Obligations — we may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings.

5. Data Sovereignty and Storage

EthioShare is committed to data sovereignty and compliance with Ethiopian data protection laws. All personal data is stored and processed in compliance with Proclamation No. 1321/2024 (the Personal Data Protection Proclamation of Ethiopia). Where data processing occurs outside of Ethiopia, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.
