Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using the EthioShare platform.

By accessing or using the EthioShare platform (the "Platform"), operated by EthioShare Technologies PLC ("EthioShare," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. EthioShare reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
EthioShare is a capital markets technology platform currently operating in paper trading and educational mode. No real money is at risk, and no actual securities transactions are executed through the Platform at this time. The Platform is designed to simulate trading environments for educational purposes, allowing users to learn about capital markets, practice trading strategies, and familiarize themselves with market dynamics. EthioShare is not a licensed broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial institution. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
To use the Platform, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) be a resident of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia or an otherwise eligible participant as determined by EthioShare; and (c) provide accurate, complete, and current registration information. EthioShare reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or restrict access at its sole discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to: (a) provide truthful and accurate information during registration and KYC verification; (b) promptly update your account information if it changes; (c) notify EthioShare immediately of any unauthorized use of your account; and (d) not share, transfer, or sell your account to any third party.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation; (b) attempt to manipulate, exploit, or interfere with the Platform's simulated trading systems; (c) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation; (d) use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Platform without prior written consent; (e) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform; (f) upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code; or (g) harass, threaten, or abuse other users of the Platform.
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and underlying technology — are the exclusive property of EthioShare Technologies PLC or its licensors and are protected by Ethiopian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written consent from EthioShare.
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis during this development phase. EthioShare makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Simulated trading data, prices, and market conditions may not reflect real-world market behavior. EthioShare does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EthioShare, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. In no event shall EthioShare's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to EthioShare, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
EthioShare reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through the competent courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
